The Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal, are a group of nine volcanic islands located in the North Atlantic Ocean. They have a rich history and folklore, but there isn't a single "Legend of the Azores." Instead, the Azores are home to a wide variety of local myths, legends, and folktales that reflect the culture and history of the islands.
